Review:

This cookbook is well thought out and organized, with notes included with healthy tidbits about the various ingredients used in the recipes, as well as some variations that can be used to tailor them to your individual needs. The images also give a tasty idea of what to expect.

The way it is organized makes it fairly easy to find what you're looking for. And I definitely appreciated that there were recipes for items that can be used solo, or as ingredients in other recipes, such as yogurt, various sauces and seasonings, as well as basic staples such as chicken stock.

I tried a few recipes that are more suited to my family. We particularly enjoyed the Black Bean Soup. It was simple and easy to make, with ingredients everyone is sure to recognize. And the taste was pretty darn amazing. We'll definitely be making it again, though we'll likely add a pinch or two of salt ;)

We also tried the Chicken Chow Mein, which was both tasty and pleasing to the palette. There are quite a few other recipes I wanted to try before posting this, but there are too many good ones, and I appreciate the various spice mix recipes included. I've been looking for some good, low to no sodium spice mixes and know these will serve my family well.
