Book Blitz: Silently Still by Julieanne Lynch

Julieanne Lynch is an author of urban fantasy books for both adults and teens. Julieanne lives in Northern Ireland, with her husband and five children, where she works on novels full-time. Before becoming a writer, she considered a few different career paths, a rock star being one of them. She studied English Literature and Creative Writing at The Open University, and considered journalism as a career path. However, she decided writing was the way for her and is thankful for each day she lives her dream.

Everyone is entitled to making their own choices in life, but a decision can make or break you. For Jacinta Kelly, hers came in the form of running away from everything that reminded her of her roots.
Living in rural Ireland was hard enough, but living with her mother’s mental illness and her obsession with her garden took its toll. One winter, the world as she knows it changes. Jacinta becomes aware of her own mortality, and how fragile her existence truly is.
Alone and frightened; to live or die, the choice is hers.

The book deals with depression, grief and self-harm.

her amazing husband, their nine children and their lively homeschooling lifestyle. Amy
considers herself a “recovering addict” where babies are concerned. She just can’t get
enough. Her hobbies include preserving memories, quantum physics, designing wild and
delicious cakes, and death by pasta. Her kids and their friends consider her everything from
hilarious to crazy, and she just gets better with age.
From only child to “CEO” of a bustling household, one constant in Amy’s life has been her love
of writing. Team that with her natural draw to children and studying at the Institute for
Children’s Literature became a given. Amy and her family currently terrorize the Rocky
Mountains of Idaho, but she looks forward to sharing her message of Joy around the world.
With a wealth of ideas from self-helps to coaching programs, mysteries to fantasy novels, you
never know what Amy will come out with next, but it is sure to revolve around her continuous

The Guild Free Guidebook For Moms is an amazing tool, not only for mothers, but for anyone. I'm not a mother yet, but I found that this book had tools and advice that I can apply to my life right now, even though I don't have kids. The chapters are nicely laid out, simple in their teaching, and give you the chance to reflect on the lessons Amy Price is trying to help you learn.
Personally, I would recommend this book to not only moms, but everyone. It is a great book to help everyone overcome feelings of guilt (generally over not doing enough, doing too much, not being good enough, etc.), overcoming the trap of believing we have to do it all, and so much more!
Even though I was given an Advanced Reader Copy in the form of an ebook, I do plan on buying the paperback version, and will definitely share it will my friends and family.

Blog Tour: Fated by Joanne Kershaw

"No matter the cost, someone must defeat the darkness."

I
Marcus
Elora’s quad leader
He has a little bit of a crush on her (okay, a big crush!), but he’s professional enough to not let it interfere while she is his subordinate. He’s a big softy at heart. Marcus is driven by the work, and takes losses personally. His quiet and calm demeanour means that he counterbalances the craziness inside Elora’s head and it allows her to do her job properly.
Plus, he’s hot, which helps!

Clara
Elora’s new quadmate.
Clara is determined to be the best Vanguard she can be. Like Elora, she has familial expectation to live up to, and she has requested a challenging assignment to allow her to do that. She is an open book for Elora, and they have a lot in common.

Patrick
Another of Elora’s new quadmates! Patrick seems to have a lot on his plate and Elora often wonders if there isn’t something else going on. He’s the strong, silent type, but he has the best interests of his team at heart. A real man’s man, Patrick can be counted on to make the tough decisions.

Adamsson

Elora’s new Vanguard Superior. He can’t replace the man she lost in the past, but he does a pretty good job! Of course, it turns out that he has a history with her mother, because which Vanguard doesn’t have a relationship with Nina? Right?

Elora looks just like she does on the covers of the books, because no other person can do that now!
