Official Book Tour: Tarragon - Dragon Bane by Karlie Lucas

The Revenants are coming.

Only recently woken from their centuries' long slumber, the dragons are unprepared to face them. But when a legend is uncovered, revealing the existence of a lost tribe of mages, hope flickers to life.

The race is on as Tyler Durand and Anwen Kaida rush to find this missing tribe while the others prepare for their last stand. But time and numbers are against them, and Anwen fears that even if they find the lost mages, it will be too late.

Excerpt

“Crap!” Walter uttered as he bent to retrieve the upside down box. Its hinges strained in protest. The velvet insert fell from inside as he picked up the object. A folded piece of parchment fell. The two pieces of wood had sandwiched it in place until now.
Putting the broken box aside, Walter picked up the yellowing paper. It crackled but didn’t break. “Hello,” he said as he felt the hand-pulped paper. “What’s this?” Using extreme care, he placed the parchment on the desk near the window and unfolded it. His eyes widened as he did.
The ink had aged to a mix of brown and black, but there was no mistaking the contents. A map of the continent sprawled across the space. He could tell by the depicted topography that it was at least several generations old. The details were sparse in areas. Despite that, it provided more than enough to identify major points of interest. Upon further inspection, Walter saw an inscription had been added to the upper corner.
“Double crap!” Walter almost ripped the page refolding it. “Tyler needs to see this.”
